Welcome to Lettercarta (https://lettercarta.com), a platform operated by Alex Gusev, an individual. By accessing or using Lettercarta, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the service.

1. Account Registration

To access certain features of Lettercarta, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Use of the Service

Lettercarta allows users to:

  • Create and/or upload books;
  • Translate them manually or with the help of AI models;
  • Download the translated results.

You retain full ownership and liability for the content you upload and translate.

3. Content Ownership & Responsibility

You own all rights to your uploaded and translated content. Lettercarta does not claim any ownership over it.

However, by using the service, you confirm that:

  • You have the rights to upload, translate, and download the content;
  • You assume full responsibility for any legal issues that arise from the content;
  • Lettercarta does not monitor, host, or distribute your content publicly.

4. Premium Features & Payments

Certain features of Lettercarta may require payment. Payments are usage-based and do not involve subscriptions. You prepay funds to your account balance and features deduct from that balance as used.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms and policies. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Refunds: Prepaid balances are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or in cases of duplicate or erroneous charges. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at alex@lettercarta.com within 14 days.

Chargebacks and Disputes: If you initiate a chargeback, we may suspend access to paid features while the dispute is investigated. We will provide relevant records to the payment processor to resolve the dispute.

Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees associated with your purchases, which may be collected at checkout.

5. Intellectual Property

All content related to Lettercarta — including but not limited to the logo, website design, branding, and trademarks — is the exclusive property of Alex Gusev and may not be copied, modified, or reused without explicit written permission.

6. Feedback and Suggestions

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding Lettercarta, you grant Alex Gusev a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use such feedback for any purpose, without compensation or attribution.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Lettercarta for:

  • Uploading or translating content that infringes on third-party rights;
  • Distributing harmful, illegal, or abusive materials;
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or compromise the platform.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty

Lettercarta is provided "as is" and "as available." No warranties, express or implied, are made about the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the service, including AI-generated translations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alex Gusev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Lettercarta.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Material changes will be posted on the website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
